🌳 HELP US SAVE OUR FOREST PARK GREEN SPACE! 🌳
Forest Park neighbors, we need your help! Please take a few minutes to speak up and let the City of Columbus know that we want to PRESERVE our wooded green space and protect Kilbourne Run — not allow it to be destroyed for new development!
The City’s proposed Zone In zoning changes could allow tall apartment buildings on the wooded parcels near the Jesus Power Assembly of God Church at 5215 Cleveland Avenue, south of the church and near Kilbourne Run. This proposal threatens the trees, natural habitat, and stream that make this area special.
🌲 This is more than a patch of trees. The area includes Kilbourne Run, a stream that feeds into Alum Creek, and land protected by a conservation easement negotiated in 1995. We believe this natural space should be preserved for our neighborhood and future generations.

- Open the link and click the “Map Survey” button.
- Find the wooded parcels on the map near Cleveland Avenue, south of the church. It is labeled as “Northland”.
- Submit your comments opposing the proposed rezoning of these parcels.
Please tell the City clearly:
- Keep this wooded green space and Kilbourne Run protected.
- Do not allow development that destroys the trees and stream.
- Honor the existing conservation easement.
- Preserve this natural area for our community and future generations.
